POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AT LINDA’S HOUSE
The following is a list of policies that I feel will help our Preschool run smoothly.
PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION CAREFULLY!
Hours of Operation:
Preschool Program
AM Preschool
Monday-Wednesday-Friday 4 hour preschool class for 4 year old Program 8:30 – 12:30
School Year August – June starting date in August will be given at a later date.
Paid Holidays that Linda’s House is closed:
New Years Day, Memorial Day,
Presidents Day, Martin Luther King Jr.,Veterans Day
Thanksgiving Day, and the day after Thanksgiving,
Christmas eve, and Christmas Day.
We are additionally closed the 26th through 31st of December which is not a paid holiday.
ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES:
Arrival: Sign in your child on the clip board hanging outside on the wall, then accompany them inside where they can put their things away in their cubbies.
Departures: Children will not be released to anyone that is not listed on your information card without written or verbal consent from the parent or guardian. Children must be signed out on clipboard.
It is very important that you pick up and drop off your children on time. Late fees will be incurred for children not picked up on time.
FOOD
Snack will be served Bring own lunch.
CLOTHING
Please dress your child in appropriate and comfortable clothing. Long dresses, thongs and sandals are very dangerous for the children to wear. All children are required to wear shoes and socks.
Parents and guardians will be notified in advance of all field trips. Permission slips must be signed in order for your child to attend.
MISCELLANEOUS
Please do not allow your child to bring toys from home unless it is their share day. You will be informed of your child’s share day at the beginning. All children must be at least the age of three and toilet trained by September of the program. All children are required to have a current physical examination from their doctor, TB clearance and an immunization record on file.
FINANCIAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
All fees are collected in advance of attendance. Fees are due on the 1st and delinquent on the 5th of the month. A late fee of $15.00 will be charged. A registration fee of $50.00 will be charged for a family's first child at enrollment. Any subsequent children enrolled will be charged a $25.00 registration fee. FEES REMAIN THE SAME REGARDLESS OF ABSENCES, VACATIONS OR the paid HOLIDAYS listed WHEN THE SCHOOL IS CLOSED. A $35.00 service fee will be collected for all returned checks. If no payment is received on your account by the due date your child may not attend school until the account is brought current. Your child’s place may not be held if not paid in full by the end of month.
If your child needs to leave school for any reason a two-week written notice is required.

The billing is based on how many school days there are in the month. The monthly tuition will fluctuate from month to month due to the fact that some months contain more school days than others.

9:50-10:20 Outside Play
10:20-10:50 Structured Activities (Rotating Schedule)
1. Art, Table Toys, Puzzles, Math
2. Art, Science, Playdough
3. Art, Music, Language Arts
4. Art, Cooking, Dramatic Play
5. Free Time (Going to the park or field trip)
10:50-11:20 Sharing, Singing, Concept of the Week
11:20-11:45 Lunch
12:45-12:20 Outside Play
12:20 – 12:30 Story Time
